A Upon entering college at Northwestern University, Dr. Kane was selected to become a member of its Honors Program in Medical Education. After earning his medical degree there, he completed a Surgery internship/residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Later, he completed specialty training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Kansas (KU). He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
